Episode 168 features one of Oklahoma City’s hottest DJs; DJ Lyfe.  In this episode, listeners are able to get a deeper understanding of the man behind the ones and twos. DJ Lyfe and Brandy chat about his upbringing, the OKC hip hop scene, and how he became the premier DJ that he is today. DJ Lyfe shares how he got his start deejaying at house parties to becoming Saint Ultra Lounge’s resident DJ.  He explains how he got his start in 2014 and that popular DJs such as DJ Wayne In This Thang and DJ Keilo embraced him. DJ Lyfe has the innate ability to get the crowd rocking, but he is also an intricate part of the Oklahoma Hip Hop scene. He is the official DJ for No Hezzo and also makes strong contributions to develop artists. He has a keen sense of music acumen and his playlists give a spotlight to local artists. DJ Lyfe and Brandy also break down the politics in the Okc hip hop community and what it will take for artists in Okc to reach the next level.
