EP176: Shardy

A Shot of Brandy Podcast is known for introducing audiences to up-and-coming artists. Episode 176 features a rising star in the Oklahoma rap game; Shardy. Shardy stops by the podcast to chat with Brandy regarding his journey in his rap career. Shardy was born in California but was raised in McAlister, Oklahoma. When listening to Shardy’s music; most would be surprised that he lives in McAlister because his flow is impeccable and his wordplay is very witty. His sound has a heavy California influence as it is laid back yet melodic. Shardy is known for his epic freestyles and releasing music via Triller videos. His project Mactowns Most Wanted is a compilation of his work this far and shows his versatility as an artist. He is currently working on a new album and has caught the ear of some of the top producers in Oklahoma such as Turn Me Up GQ. Shardy’s unique sound and energy on the microphone are unmatched and he is certainly one to watch. In his song Bands, Shardy states “Everybody wanna be a rapper but nobody ever wanna put the work in.” Shardy is putting in work and primed to be one of the hottest out.
